Dr. Yehuda J. Benjamin is originally from New York, but grew up in Cooper City, FL.
He holds the rare distinction of calling himself a “triple-gator” having attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate studies (2002-2005), dental school education (2005-2009), and endodontic degree (2014-2016).
Dr. B additionally completed a one year hospital based general practice residency program in 2010 at the New York-Presbyterian Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn. There he received extensive training in all aspects of dentistry including an emphasis on medically compromised patients and hospital based care.
During Dr. Benjamin’s time as a general dentist, Dr. Benjamin was awarded the Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry. He was one of only 10 recipients in the state of Florida in 2013. This award is given to a select few general dentists who have displayed a dedication to continued education, are in good standing with the board of dentistry, and have passed a rigorous multi-specialty exam.
Dr. Benjamin practiced general dentistry for four years in South Florida prior to returning to the University of Florida to attain his Master’s degree in Oral Biology and specialty in Endodontics.
His research during residency was on minimally invasive approaches to endodontic procedures. This research was recognized at the University of Florida Spring Synergy Session in 2014 and at the national level at the 2014 annual endodontic conference.
He has received extensive training in root canal therapy and is Board Certified with the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Benjamin’s mission is to help patients address their endodontic needs with a combination of conventional and integrative approaches to their care.
When not focused on dentistry he maintains a healthy mix of hobbies including reading, jogging, traveling, watching super hero/sci-fi movies, and spending quality time with his wife and children.
